2gb 650 TI vs 1gb 7850?

I am stuck between these two cards. On one hand, the 7850 performs slightly better than the 650, but on the other, the 650 ti comes with AC3, which I can sell for a discount.... Feedback? thanks.

More about 7850
  1. 7850 no contest
  2. the HD 7850 hands down
  3. The GTX 650 Ti may be cheaper but the HD 7850 is a LOT faster.
  4. yep the 7850 is better and you won't be needing 2gigs of VRAM either.
When I'm playing just cause 2 at 1080p it hardly uses 700megs of VRAM

    So HD7850 FTW!
  5. Even if I sell the bundled AC3 for 30-40 bucks?
  6. If I should get a 7850, what brand should i buy from?
  7. I have a MSI 7850 with a very good cooler and i had an MSI 6850 before that which served me well. Sapphire do one with a very good and quiet twin fan cooler too

good for just cause 2............. I wouldn't buy a video card at this point in time that had less than 2gigs of vram at 1600 res and above.

I second that. Mine has 2gb of ram and i got it on sale for the same price as some 1gb models. What country are you buying in? Maybe you can get a good deal on a 2gb as it will last longer
  11. It looks good and i'm sure you'll be more than happy with the performance as i have been with mine.I hope you enjoy gaming on your new card when you get it:)

  13. 650ti is an inferior card than 7850 alright. but when you consider sheer value the 650ti is currently an exciting proposition.
AC3 free is probably one of the best offer i have seen on a entry to mid range card ever.
i would have bought the 650ti for that great deal alone.
but since you not interested in AC3 the 7850 will be a better long term investment for you and in general for people who dont change their gpu every year
so go for 7850. personally i would recommend sapphire or msi cards.
i dont like the big ugly cooler on gigabyte while it does a great job of being cool.
    avoid powercolor.
