Hello, I want to upgrade my motherboard I`m using i7-2600 and GTX 680 Lightning. I like MSI Mpower, but it have only 3.0 slots.
I want to ask if i can run i7-2600 cpu with GTX 680 lightning in 3.0 slot? Using like pcie 2.0 mode in 3.0 slot? or i need pcie 2.0 slot?

that will work, but the pcie will stay at 2.0, until you get an ivy bridge chip. but nothing really uses the pcie 3.0 yet, so you wont notice any slow downs.

No problem.
Pcie 2.0/3.0 is forward and backward compatible.
Any difference in performance with a GTX680 is negligible too.
