7950 Texture Pop-in, low frames, and more!

Hi,

I made a post a few weeks ago regarding poor performance from my 7950. In Battlefield 3, one of the main games I bought this for, I get 40 - 60 fps in most areas regardless if it is on Low or Ultra.

I am also getting weird texture pop-ins. Like hills and terrain on walls, streets, etc...will look "flat" then will slowly pop in. I don't understand why it's doing this, I got better performance with my 5850...

What's happening here? I'm thinking about RMA but I don't believe I have a case haha.

All my power cables are connected, I have reseated it. Runs at x16 @ 2.0 PCI-e.

what cpu do you have/what's your monitor resolution

AMD 965 4.0ghz

1920 x 1080.

I also check my GPU load after playing cs go and its 30%.

if the cpu load is only 30% then you fave a MAJOR cpu bottleneck could you overclock your cpu to 4.2 or 4.4Ghz then see what your gpu load is
