So, I just bought an R6770 Core Edition yesterday. I had an HD 3300. I installed the new card, as I always have with new cards. I've even gone as far as to factory restore my entire computer. It still will not move past the boot screen. Even if I try to enter the boot menu or setup menu, it just says loading boot menu etc. and never moves on.
When I turn on my PC, it goes to the Compaq boot screen and freezes there. The card's fan pulses in 4-5 short bursts at a high rate of speed then slows way down. I don't get any beeps. As a matter of fact, nothing happens beyond the boot screen and graphics card's fan pulsing.
Any suggestions as to the fixing this problem?
