Do you watch your movie in a web browser, or do you download it first, and use a media player application for playing it?

If it's the second case, you should try out SMPlayer ( http://smplayer.sourceforge.net/ ). It has a feature to delay the sound. Hopefully you have to tune it only at the start of the movie, if it's not the case, then there's nothing you can do, I'm afraid.
