Project Gaming PC

Hi guys, i'm interested in making a gaming PC but i'm not too sure if i should overclock. This pc would mainly be used for gaming and occasionally editing videos and photoshop. With that, should i get an overclock build? Anyway this was the current build that i was trying to go for, however it has overshot my budget. Should I just go with an overclock build with not so expensive parts or should not overclock at all?

  1. This topic has been moved from the section CPU & Components to section Systems by Mousemonkey
  2. it think your main focus with this RIG is for gaming rather than editing since you've said occasionally.

BTW: on what resolution are you going for this build?

might as well think with the motherboard check this. nothing much of a difference only the PCIe slots when doing CF/SLI but most of the features are the same.

  3. I don't have a monitor for this rig yet but i'm thinking of getting a 24 inch so i guess 1920 x 1200
  4. and yep the main focus's on gaming and as of now, I don't have any plans for CF
