Hey guys, I'm new here and not sure if this is the right place for this question...

Anyway, I have a 5 year old HP m9000t with a quad core q6600 8 gb of upgraded ram and 512 mb NVIDIA GeForce 8500GT. The graphics card has been giving me issues - blue screenign and restarting and the fan has been spinning very fast and loud on some websites (facebook bejeweled blitz?) I know I can upgrade the graphics card, but i figured why not just upgrade the whole pc.
I was looking at the below 3 systems with the following specs and prices (as of today). My question is which should I get one of the3,get something even cheaper and lower end (ideas) based on my needs or should I just upgrade the graphics card (which may or may not take care of the issue).
My intent for the pc is no gaming. I use it for web browsing (2 windows and multiple tabs at once), downloading videos and watching HD via HDMI on my TV.
I have a 25" monitor i run at 1900X1200 speakers im happy with. My budget is max of $500, preferably less if I have no need of that spending.

Option 1: Current price $499.99

For a budget of 500 I would agree with the i5, for those with a better budget I would always recommend building the PC up from the bottom to suit your own specs but for something like web browing the i5 should run fairly smoothly for that.
