All my games are crashing with .exe

Recently i ordered a new system from Scan.co.uk, 2 days in fact and have installed various games on it:

Planetside 2, League of legends, Guild wars 2, Battlefield 3

and all, within the hour have crashed to desktop with the error stating a problem with the .exe.

I am not very computer savvy so I am in need of urgent assistance!

My computer is:

Microsoft Windows 8 64-bit
Intel Core i5 3570K @ 3.40GHz
Ivy Bridge 22nm Technology
8.00 GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 800MHz (9-9-9-24)
Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. Z77-D3H (Intel Core i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz)
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti
932GB Seagate ST1000DM003-9YN162

I have ran temperature tests with Prime95 and i am between 60-70 degrees under stress. I have no idea what to do

The guy at Scan suggested I change my bios profile to profile 1 where there is no overclocking, however when i try to do that, it freezes as i navigate through the menu :S

hmm is there any sort of reset to optimal defaults on that bios?

I sometimes get that with games on windows 7, disabling DEP for that specific game solves this 95% of the times..
