New pc build won't boot

Just upgraded my CPUmobo and ram to a fx8120 CPU gigabyte 990x mobo and 8 gb ddr3 ram.using my old videocard sapphire 6770 hdds 3x 1 tb Arnold PSU 600 w gamer. I put the new hardware in last night but when I went to boot the comp for the first time the fas started but nothing else.the fans seemed to be,waning so I tried trying it on without the video card. No boot noises or beeps but fans seemed steadier.possibly need a bigger PSU? I assumed 600 w would be plenty .

The PSU was working fine on last mobo and encase the new mobo doesn't support ideas there are no cd/ DVD drives installed
