after a successful $1200 gaming rig for me i'm planning to build a $500 gaming pc for my cousine for xmas, she's willing to max out all the games at 720p which makes me wonder... should i go for an intel build or an amd build. i'm thinking about the i3-3220 as a high performance gaming cpu for less but idk if the amd fx-4100 series can beat it. also i'm thinking about the hd 7770 cause the hd 7850 would be a little burn in the pocket. please suggest custom builds with the highest performance for the budget available thank you.
