Im getting ready to order my 64bit windows 7 pro system im custom building but Im not sure if im doing this %100 properly. My budget is $2000 its gonna be made for using pre sonus studio one v2 professional audio editing. This is the first true 64bit program and 64bit float that utilizes all 8 cores in a processor.

Ill post what ive put together so far but im not sure if im getting the proper ram match

Amd Fx 8350 (Eight Core)
CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Water Cooler
ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z AM3+ AMD 990FX
CORSAIR Dominator Platinum 32GB (4 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133
CORSAIR CMXAF1 Fans (For Dominator Model)
x2 Crucial M4 CT256M4SSD1 2.5" 256GB SATA III MLC 7mm Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
gonna run these ssd in raid 0.
Arctic Silver 5 High-Density Polysynthetic Silver Thermal Compound AS5-12G - OEM
CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX750 V2 750W ATX12V v2.31/ EPS12V v2.92 80
Corsair Carbide Series 400R Graphite grey and black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Gaming Case

Im presently looking for a decent $100 video card nothing fancy and im looking for some chipset coolers and case fans. atm im @ 1600 any recommendations someone has to make this setup quicker I actually do use more then 16gb of ram with this $400 program since they implement true 64bit. .wav's get ridicilious huge creating music so im gonna use the 512gig 256x2 ssd in raid0. for recording and quick work. then copy the date to a external usb 3.0 or possibley firewire/thunderbolt. I plan on overclocking the 8350 to 4.7-5.0ghz I dont know what ram to use 1600/1866/2133/2400 I have $400 to throw around your advice will be greatly appreciated it. thank you so much

Also ram and multicore are so important for the application im using with all the plugins I mix/master/record professional audio from my machine. I noticed theres corsair ram 32gb 4x8mb and its $140 then they have it all the way up to $429-600 what are the differences in these ? Id rather spend the cash to get the besdt of the best.

For about 150 you could get a radeon 7770 video card. Although this is slightly more than you asked for, it will allow greater flexibility. Putting so much into a machine would be silly if it cannot handle smooth true hd videos.
Although I do not have experience with this sort of audio work, I do frequent 1080p video renders in 64 bit Sony Vegas pro, so I can appreciate your processor and ram. When it comes to video rendering, processor is the most important part. I'm not sure if this is same for audio work, but those are my two cents

Good luck, and you have one hell of an awesome machine right there.

Hey so it looks like we have the same idea on motherboard and processor. I have ordered and reveived the 8350 and asus formula z along with corsairs 800d case and 1200axi power supply and other cool stuff which doesnt matter. However I am finding little resources on RAM. In the motherboards manual it does NOT list Corsairs Dominator Platinum series as an acceptable ram for overclocking at 2000/2133/2400 however it does list that ram for the 1866OC. I'm UNSURE if I purchased the 2133 and installed it if it would work?!?!?! So my question is the same. Will Corsairs Dominator Platinum Series 32GB (4x8) work with this setup????????????????
