Is Tom right?

On his specs about the rad 8500 and the 8500dv (http://www.tomshardware.com/graphic/01q4/011211/index.h...) he mentions that it has 3 texturing units per pipeline, but I thought that they (ATI) brought 'em down to only 2 texturing units. Is he mistaken or am I.

As per a review at HardwarePub, it is 2. I couldn't find it on Ati's site.

hmmm, yeah. I hate the fact that ATI (or any manufacturer) doesn't have indepth specs on their own products. How come we have to find stuff like that from review site (not a bad thing).
