Hello, I have an AMD APU that I wish to use in "hybrid-crossfire" mode...
A8-3800 with Radeon HD6550D + 6670 (DDR3 or GDDR5?)
Is there a performance boost between DDR3 and GDDR5 memory on the video cards while using the "dual graphics/hybrid-crossfire" APU feature? I have read posts about the GDDR5 as being dumbed to DDR3 since that's what the APU uses.
I am about to purchase a 6670 card to play games better and would like to take advantage of the dual graphics. I would rather save the ~$25 if there are no benefits of GDDR5 in dual graphics mode.
Thanks
