Up until now I've only purchased nVidia cards - not because I'm a fanboy but b/c nVidia simply had the better card at my price point in the years I was making a purchase. This year, however, I've decided to go with the AMD HD 7870, and I'm not familiar with manufacturer reputation when it comes to AMD products.

Which manufactures can you recommended for the 7870?

Thanks.

*edit* I should clarify that my main concern is reliability. I'm looking for the companies that make solid products.

I hope this helps. it's a roundup of 7950's and 7970's, but it goes into an extensive review of their components, the quality of their heatsink coolers, overclocking, noise levels, heat levels produced inside the case (with infrared photography), etc. I would take a look at it and get the 7870 version from the manufacturer that you think is best.

I guess you're not planning on playing any PhysX games then?
