Hey up guys,

After some advice, I'm after upgrading my graphics card but really no sure what one or way to go. I read all the reveiws but theres just so many different ones. Anyways My motherboard supports 3 way SLI/Crossfire so do i go with a sli combo and pay a little less for my first card with the intention of adding more at a later date ? Or should i go for a single gpu and pay more ? My max budget for my first card is £250

My Basic Specs
Asus Crosshair V Formula Mainboard.
Corsair 16GB 1866 Vengeance DDR3 Memory.
AMD FX 8150 CPU.
Cooler Master Silent Pro 850w Psu.
Nvidia Geforce BFG GTX OC 280 Gpu.

Thanks very much guys

John.

If you game on 3 monitors or more , its always good to go SLI / Crossfire.

Otherwise with your budget of £250 ( USD402 ) on the first card , you should get a decent one like GTX 670 or 7970.

You can go SLI or Crossfire in the future if you think you need to. But both card are powerful enough to run stuff you want.

Some other people's opinion might differ from me but its all up to personal preference. I believe you know that more cards = more power = more heat.
