GTX 580 SC or...?

Hello fellow gamers and builders,

I have looked online to find any good threads about this, I am wanting to upgrade my GTX 460 Hawk edition, a buddy of mine just upgraded to a 670 and was going to sell me his GTX 580 SC that was previously in his system for only $200. Would this be a good buy or should I opt for somehting else like a 660ti or even a 670? Thanks in advance

580 is a old heavy noisy hungry card. 660 or 660ti r new sleek cards. And $200 for a used card ?.
U will get a 600 or 660 ti or 7870 or 7950 within price range of $ 200 -300 .All these r new cards, more optimized and with newer gpu.
