I have a Sabertooth z77 mobo with a SSD for boot up, but when I go to "My Computer" I can't see the 1tb HDD. Yet in advanced BIOS settings it's there. What do I have to do so that I can see and write to it when in Windows?

Thanks all!

Did you recently add this hard drive? Go into the Disk Management console (Right-click on Computer and select Manage, select Disk Management). Does the 1 TB drive show up in there (scroll down the list of drives)?

No it does not. I put it all together today, it went in with the rest. I've seen many people online saying that I have to do something in the BIOS to allow the motherboard to see a tb drive, but can't find how.

This is strange then. When I'm in the Adv. bios I can see the drive there, just not when I'm in Windows. It's a WD Caviar Black.

How many SATA ports do you have? Have you tried different ports? Do you see the drive in Device Manager?

If this drive was recently purchased, you may need to consider an RMA if all these troubleshooting steps fail.
