Hi! I have an asus P/I P55T2P4 72 pin simms and I need more RAM. Does anyone have experience with adding ram? Do I need the TAG 5volt SRAM chip or a couple of 64 MB simm memory modules?!? Or maybe both...Cant exceed 24 chips per module, whatever that means. Help before I throw this puter in the yard!

You can find 64MB SIMMs at various sites for as little as $15, check pricewatch, stay away from the "4k refresh" modules, get EDO. You can get 256MB into that board if you buy four of these. You need to install them in matched pairs.

What's the frequency, Kenneth?

Thanks Crashman, Do I take out the old SIMMs and put in the four new and then change the jumper? Will the mobo automatically detect the change? Dang I hate being a newbie at this....
