hello, I've some money to spend over my first gaming pc and I have picked the parts and they are all nice, a Readon HD 7970, an i5-3570k and the ASRock Z77 OC Formula, but some people told me that i should save more money and wait for Q2 2013 because AMD will release the 8000 series and intels new series of proccessers , what do you think ?

If I were you I would wait, it[s already end of the year, so a few more months wouldn't hurt, and you'll get something better for the same money specially in the GPU department, also INTEL it's going to change it's socket from 1155 to 1150, so if you wait you will have the chance of upgrading to next generation after Haswell, which it's the upcoming intel cpu generation.

But if you want to buy it now, it wouldn't be bad either. It's up to you.

I think its up to you. Theres nothing wrong with buying it now. All Im saying its that if your not in such a hurry you could buy something better with the same money, heck you could save more money and have something even better but if you think the performance of this generation its enough then go ahead.
Please let me know your decision, either one its great.

The 8870 will outperform the 670 so yes i would wait, as far as ive heard haswell only reduces power consumption.
