Hey guys,

I recently bought a AMD A10-5800k APU with Raedon HD 7660D Integrated Graphics and I can't seem to find out how to get the dedicated memory over 256 MB. That's paltry memory and I know I can make it higher but can't figure how. Does it do it automatically or something?

You need to list the hardware and software.

If you're referring to the amount of on-board memory being 256MB, then you cannot increase that amount. Since Windows Vista, the operating system automatically allocates additional memory to the graphics card.

It's done automatically on demand. If you are doing something that needs more graphics memory, it will allocate it on the fly.

I went to the bios and increased it to the max 512 MB. Looking to use Dual Graphics soon. Solved!
