My laptop has a blu-ray reader in it. That means it can play blu-ray discs. Does this also mean that it will be able to write data to one. So if I buy a pack of blank blu-rays, would I be able to store files on them? Or can I only read data from them. My laptop model is Acer 6930G: http://www.notebookcheck.net/Review-Acer-Aspire-6930G-N...

Thanks in advance for help

No, just because it can read it dosent mean it can write to it. the specs on the link say its a DVD writer.
