when I've purchased the seller didn't told me that I can't wee it by DVD
player...
Even if I've spent 10Euros.... for this "old" LD....... I would like to know
if I can Emule a LD with PC by a software.... or how I can rip the Video
track and put it on HDD in a differentt video layout.

Thank you.

It's analog FM encoded, your computer cannot read it. You need to buy a LD
player and then input the video signal from the player to a A/D. Then you
can use whatever program you want to compress it so you can record it.

It sounds like you have a CDV disc, not a LaserDisc.

If you don't have an LD player that is capable of playing CDV discs,
then send it to someone who does and who can transfer the material to
DVD.

I've seen it go for $300 on ebay.
11 euros seems to be a good deal, if the disc has not rotted.

A friend found a 5" ld of Madonna's "Papa Don't Preach" in a
trash bin once. It was slightly bronze or yellow. Not silver
colored.

If I am not mistaken, there should be an audio track that
your CD player can play.

You need to find someone with a laserdisc player and have them record it to
some other format. I would recommend digital 8 with a camcorder, or a DVD
recorder if possible. Most digital 8 camcorders can be connected to a computer
and whatever is on the tape can then be downloaded to the computer. If you
have a DVD recorder in you computer, you can then transfer it to DVD.

"if the disc has not rotted" may be the most important phrse in the
whole thread.... I had about 25 of these discs (PAL format) - and
every single one of them rotted.....
Try to get it checked out on someone else's player before laying out
cash on buying one for yourself!!
