GPU/GPUS for 4800x900 eyefinity set up

okay guys/girls..
Im in need of a GPU(or two if more cost effective) for a tri screen eyefinity
set up, res at 4800x900, price as low as possible, play games like metro 2033
at atleast high settings.... budget still currently unknown...

currently looking at two 6970's at $178 ea... any better performing suggestions still within range of price will be much appreciated

The 2 x 6970 is fine for that price, it is cheaper than 2 x HD7870.
