Internet Lag-looking for advice

I live in a house with 3 people (including myself) using large amounts of bandwidth. While I am gaming if one of the others starts to video chat or stream a movie it usually has disastrous results for me. I have a good amount of money to spend on this problem and was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of a solution? I'm not sure what would be the best way to go about fixing this.

simply put you're maxing out the bandwidth on your internet connection.
Pretty much the only thing to do is get a faster connection which will cost more money.

I'm still a little torn between upgrading the internet for everyone or just having a separate connection for myself installed. Also if I did get a separate connection for myself what sort of specs would be the most I would want to get? assuming it would be providing internet for the single desktop through an Ethernet cord. (mainly for raiding end game wow content so any lag is a disaster lol)
