4gb GT640

Hello,

Bought this card for running physx alongside amd card.

What else might it be good for with all that ram? How to know when the ram is being used?

Lol, typical example of a card with more ram than it can use!
To answer your questions;
nothing (as a gaming card it will run out of processing power before it runs out of ram, even if it had 1gb RAM)
you will not know

that's a waste of money, how much did you pay for that GT 640 with 4GB of VRAM.?

Paid more than it is worth, bought it as it was single slot than realised it had 4gb

it's good for returning or a quick turn around sell..
GT 640 is what I call a HTPC graphics card as it's not really gaming strength.

my apologies but I can't recommend that card for anything but what I just stated, HTPC and that 4GB is such a waste..

i think that's really good for editing and designing. it can also play angry birds i think. it's a fun game
