Gt 630 vs gt 440

My exams are over....and now i can concentrate on buying the graphic card ... so which one is better??

Is Zotac reliable ?.,,,,, And is this card worth an upgrade.... ( bad luck cant find a gddr5 version )

also i came to know that gt 630 is a rebranded version of gt 440? is it true?

if you are going to buy a new gpu i would suggest saving up for a 640 but if you want to stay in your price range get the 630

better than 630 and 640 is the 7750 for not much more. but if budget is a concern then get 6670.
and yes the gt630 is rebrand of gt440. they both are ssame cards

@samuelspark my crappy mobo has issues with 2.1 so it might have issus with 7750 ( PCIE 3.0)

A PCIe 3.0 card will work just fine in your motherboard, all newer cards are backward compatible with previous slot versions, so along with memory type, you don't really need to be concerned much about slot type either.

There is no guarantee.

Is your motherboard BIOS version currently Version 5.14? I think that was the last version that HP made available.

You would need to find a vendor that will allow you to return the card if you find that it is incompatible with your system.

The DDR3 version is around 2% to 13% slower than the GDDR5 version depending on display resolution and game/application.

but the problem is that there are no good nearby vendors in my area that i know of... usually order online.... thats why i want it to be fool proof
