I have a SB Live! card that I had in another computer, so I know it works. I installed the drivers and it says they're working properly. I don't have the volume control in the system tray, and it says it's already installed. When I try to play a song I get an error.
MMSYSTEM032 The specified format cannot be translated or supported. Use the compatabilities function to view supported formats.
I am running Windows ME. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

1) to have volume tray icon you have to activate it from the panel configuration/Sound

2) what os drivers you install ME, 98SE, 98 ?

windows Me is Windows 98 3th edition

if there is no drivers for Me or they don't work, try install Windows 98SE(2th) or/then 98(1th) Drivers instead of ME drivers

if you install 98 or 98SE drivers, try ME drivers
