CPU: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/intel-cpu-bx80623i52500k i5 2500k

Motherboard: I have no idea honestly, they all just seem like a hit or miss. If someone could recommend one, that would be great. I looked at one of the ASRock Z77s but I read a review on amazon that said if I had a bottom mounted power supply, I would need to drill through my video card. :S

Memory: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gskill-memory-f312800cl9d8... 2 x 4gb g.skill ram

Storage: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/seagate-internal-hard-driv... seagate 7200rpm 1tb HDD

Video Card: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-video-card-hd7870dc22... HD 7870

Case: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-case-rc922mk... Cooler Master HAF 922

Power Supply: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-power-supply-cmpsu... Corsair Enthusiast Series 650W

Optical Drive: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-optical-drive-drw24b1...

I have already purchased my video card, ram and CPU as I got them on sale. My case, HDD, PSU are all pretty much set to buy, perhaps an SSD in the future.

I just do not know what to do for my MOBO. Not really looking for anything in particular, just one that will decently overclock.

Thanks for suggestions.

Well then get a case where PSU is mounted on top and go for that mobo you want

I would reccomend getting a full tower case, if you like the design of the case you chose I would reccomend the HAF 932.
