hello tom's team,i need a nvidia card which is best suited for my pc that will not bottleneck with my processor.

My rig
intel core2duo e7300@ 2.66 ghz
4gb ddr2 ram
window 7(32 bit)
gigabyte 945GCM-S2L( PCI-Express)
Monitor-Samsung Syncaster S20B300 (1600*900).
my psu is old ,so i m going to replace it with a better one.

i recent changed my zotac gt 430 ddr3 with HIS hd 7750 ddr5,but i am having very bad experience with hd 7750.it is performing even lower than my gt 430 card.may be due to bottleneck.so i have decided to sell it and buy a new nvidia card.
i dont want to change my processor and motherboard yet.and i dont want to buy amd cards again.
so plz suggest me a powerful nividia card which will not bottleneck with my cpu, such that any other card higher than that one will bottleneck.i hope now u understand what i want to say.i want the card for gaming ,not at maximum resolution but at best possible resolution according to my rig.

my preference is nvidia gts 450 ddr3. i am afraid ddr5 version of gts450 will again give problem as hd 7750 did.may be my pc is too old for handling ddr5 and will not perform well.another card is gtx550 ti but i am again afraid it will bottleneck.as i am already in loss with hd 7750.

any suggestion will be highly appericiated .plz suggest if there is any other card other than the above best suited for my rig.
also tell ddr3 or ddr5 version for my rig.
so my options are gts 450 ddr3,ddr5,gtx 550 ti ddr3,ddr5, or any other nvidia card(no amd card),without bottlenecking my rig.
thanks in advance.

You need to check that your motherboard support PCIe 3.0 cards, maybe it needs a bios update. GDDR5 is not the problem, I have a GTX 460 768MB GDDR5 in a PC with C2D CPU (E6850) and a PCIe 1.0 motherboard and the card working fine.

I suggest you try to find the problem with the 7750 as the slot and RAM speed are not it. Try a driver update 1st.

For your CPU, the best graphic card with no bottlenack is GTX 460 or equivalent.

GTX 460 is GDDR5 only. You can also get any of the other cards that are found in the same tiers of the 460 here:
