I got an ASUS with i5 and Nvidia GT630M 2GB.
Been getting nvlddmkm.sys with a lot of drifferent drivers ( 301.42, 304.48, 304.79, 306.02, 306.97 ). That happens whenever I start up a game or Windows Rating or Windiws Media Center.
Tried replacing the nvlddmkm.sys with all of those versions- didn't help.
Downloaded RivaTuner to underclock my GPU, read that it might help, it gave me an error about not recognizing my GPU and uncompatible driver or something like that - also fail.
Tried adding the values to Registry Editor aswell - didn't help.
So far, the only thing that makes it ?somehow? work is if I uninstall official Nvidia drivers and wait for Windows Update to find some "Standard VGA Driver", which I think makes it work since I can games nicely, but I don't have an option to put my laptop to sleep. Only hybernate or shut down.
So, any help ?
