If i had to choose...displays

I have 2 options. I have a ViewSonic VX2235wm monitor and a Insignia 22" 1080p TV. Can you tell me what i should go with please? Yes i know that neither is anything great but its what i have available right now. The Monitor has the DVI jacks while the TV i would have to hook up via HDMI. My Vid card is a Radeon 7870 and has both DVI and HDMI jacks. I do game with my PC so im looking for best results here.

I say the TV. Usually I would go with the monitor, but the fact that its not 16:9 would make me go crazy.

It depends on your preference, you aren't loosing anything choosing one or the other.
