Which is the best HD 7970?

Hi guys! Well I'm building my own computer (first time)! There's a sale going on at newegg for the 7970:

I'm not sure if I should get that one, or the other ones available at newegg:

Which one should I get? The first one's cheaper by $100, but I don't want to hinder the computer's performance due to price, that is... if it makes any difference at all...

The cheapest one, they can be overclocked around 15-20%, I bought mine at 925 core clock and it runs stable at 1150.

the coolers on standard 7970s are pretty noisy and not really that great. there are a number of models which have better, quieter, cooling solutions. so no, cheapest really isnt the best. its just... cheapest

Take a look at your case, and see how much cooling you'll have for the GPU. If you have a good 120mm fan pushing in air in front of the GPU, you can pretty much pick any 7970. If your case is a little restricted in flow, you might need one with a beefier cooler.

Well there are 2 editions of the 7970's. The cheapest ones are non-Ghz editions. The more expensive ones are Ghz-editions.

The Ghz edition is faster. Do you need it ? I know I won't if it means 100 dollars of savings for a few % perf difference.
