Graphics card overheating

Hello Recently my graphics card has just started overheating and it is around reaching 147F my graphics card is NVIDIA geforce 220. and my powersupply is 500W what could be the issue? i am new to this thanks.

Is it passively cooled or does it come with a fan?
The maximum operating temperature for GT 220 is 105 C which is around 221 F.

That should be fine, because 147F is about 64C. GPUs overheat when they go above 90C. So you should be fine, although if it's 147C, the system would shut down and it's really dangerous. Better replace it and get a new one (or fix it's cooler).
