Maximum graphics memory

hey to whom it may concern
i was just wondering if i bought this laptop (Sony VAIO SVT11113FGS)... it has an hd 4000 intel as a graphics cardi just wanted to know how much graphics memory can have dedicated and shared please:)

I have a laptop with HD 4000 graphics it shows minimum and maximum graphics memory.
Minimum graphics memory= 64 MB
Maximum graphics memory= 1696 MB.

Why are you asking this? More graphics memory doesn't equal more performance. Intel HD 4000 is an unsuitable card for gaming despite how much memory it can have.

to say its unsuitable is doing it a disservice. it can hold its own in most games at 720p which most likely the res of his laptop screen especially in casual games. maybe not so well in BF3 and skyrim but it can hold its own.

Sure, on casual games like solitaire :) . If the OP intends to play something more serious though, he should not think about buying a laptop with an intel card.

lool all i see in here is bullshitt... anw hd 400 can handle nfs most wanted normally without being overheated(512mbs required)?? ....and i can handle all 1gb games normally as well?
!! i just need answeres to these questions if someone knows :D
