The actual name brand of the media, or technically the actual manufacturing plant that created the dye and cdr, makes a significant difference. Also pay attention, when you get the chance, to Mode1/2, Form 1/2, Ascii/Joliet/Romeo.
Burning a disk Mode2, Form2 might wreck your day/week/friggin-fiscial-year.
