Hi :) So i know guy that both GPUs are strong! I don't know is my PC able to handle one of this GPUs. I have AMD Athlon 64x2 dual core 4400 + 2.31 GHz , i have motherboard ASRock N68-s
and Power supply unit 700W . So I am not sure could my CPU and motherboard handle HD 4870 ( which is stronger ) and 9600 GT ( its weaker ) . Guys please tell me can i put HD 4870 , will it bottleneck ? and is it my motherboard enough ? Here are some link :

If you want to play the latest game the HD 7850 will be the right choice since it has DX 11 support.
I would only recommend getting the HD 7850 if you have a decent quad core like the Phenom II X4.
The HD 4870 and 9600 GT has support for DX 10.1 and DX 10 only but games will run faster on the HD 4870 compared to the 9600 GT.
If you don't plan on upgrading the CPU then get the HD 4870 since you can crank up high detail settings in most games.
BTW GTA 5 will run on DirectX 10 card like the HD 4870 and 9600 GT.
Your CPU will bottleneck the HD 4870 but if you overclock the CPU you will get a decent improvement in most games.
Which monitor resolution are you plan to game at ? (1280*720/1366*768/1920*1080)

You can't put an intel CPU on an AMD motherboard.
Intel CPU will only work on Intel motherboard and AMD CPU on AMD motherboard.
Here is a list of supported CPU for your motherboard.

I would recommend getting a used Phenom II X4.
Are you running on integrated graphics currently?
If so then get a new GPU first.
An Nvidia Geforce GT 640 and GTX 750 or AMD Radeon R7 240 and R7 250 does not require a power connector.

I would recommend going for the HD 4670 instead since i heard rumors that PCI Express 2.1 cards such as the HD 5670 won't work on PCI Express x16 1.0 motherboard.
The HD 4670 uses PCI Express x16 2.0 and it will work without compatibility issues with your motherboard and it does not require extra power connector.
There are windows XP drivers available for download from AMD website.
Keep in mind that you will only be able to run in games in DirectX 9.0c under windows XP.
You will see great improvement in gaming performance since you have been using integrated graphics all this time.
