Windows 8 system assessment tool

So I installed windows 8 this weekend. The windows system asses,ent tool maxed out at 7.9 in windows 7 and under windows 8 maxes out at 9.9. So I ran it and was a bit surprised when my graphics score only came back with a 7.1. I'm running two gtx 670's in sli. Really? Two 670's can't max out the old 7.9 vista score and can't even come close to the 9.9 in windows 8? What in the world would it take to get that 9.9? Two gtx 690's?

I get an 8.9 with my Crossfire 7970s, so you should probably get an 8.5 or 8.6 with SLI 670s. First thing I'd do is reinstall drivers.

Yeah, I tried a beta driver and it went up slightly to 7.3. Still not very good but at least it tells me its a driver issue. Guess I'll just chalk it up to nvidia not having very good drivers for Windows 8 yet.

8.0 with single HD 7850 on Win8 RTM

I'd be interested to know what some folks running nvidia hardware are getting. And if the scores are good what driver they are using.

I am running a single EVGA GeForce 660 Ti S/C and I pulled a 7.8/7.9 with driver update in Windows 8. No idea what it would have scored in W7, as I bought it when I rebuilt for W8.

So I turned off the SLI and got an 8.1 with a single 670. So yeah, something is definitely amiss with windows ratings and SLI.
