hi, i have a quad core Q6700 2.66ghz cpu and just want to know what graphics cards would get me the very most out of my cpu without any major bottlenecking.
i may over clock my cpu in the future so maybe something that is slightly more than what i need.
ddr5 vram preferable.
i intend to be gaming on games like battlefield 3, crysis and maybe gta 4
any ideas?

A 7850 would work perfectly.

I would go for the 7850 but if you want an Nvidia equivalent then the GTX 560 is pretty close.

7850: The 560 Ti, but the 7850 beats it by quite a big margin. 560 Ti is actually a last generation (last-gen) card.
7770: That would probably be the 560. But the 7770 is faster.

So... Sadly I won't recommend buying an nvidia card in your budget :) . May I ask you why you want nvidia?

That's from a different class. It's somewhat equivalent to a 7870. I think it's too much ($230) and it'll probably bottleneck on OP's system.

And you only get the best of that GPU for your Q6700 IF u OC your CPU like to 3.2 GHz...
