What is wrong with my graphic card?

October 29, 2012 2:00:09 PM

I have this video card for five years now, and it had been working fine before cleaning the PC. Simply, when I insert the video card into my PC, the system does not boot but when I tested this video card with another motherboard it just worked fine and when I test another video card with my current motherboard it also worked fine. So what's going on?? My video card and motherboard they just seem work fine separately, but they can't work together they are incompatible.
So how's that after five years my video card has become incompatible?
I showed my PC to a technician, and he confirmed this and told me I had to replace my video card but why after five years this is happening? Can somebody tell me what's going on? And also I tested my motherboard and video card with another power supple and still the same result so the power is not the issue here.
My system specification:
motherboard:Msi k9n neo v2
video card: gainward geforce 8800gt 512mb
ram:2 gb
cpu: amd athlon 64 x2 6000+
power :530 watt

So what's wrong with my PC?
