Irish guy in Brazil.
Started to get graphical errors so I brought it to a repair shop.
I figured in my ignorance that the card could be replaced.
Turns out its a chip(Nvidia GT 540m) integrated with the motherboard and the guy can`t fix it.
He said a replacement motherboard is 750.
Sooo, since I don`t have that, I've been searchin the googlenets for solutions and the big contenders are:
Reballing/reflowing
External GPU.
The problem is that neither of these are over the counter solutions- I don't have the tools for the first and don't want to have to build the second myself.
Any ideas? Are there reasonably priced premade eGPUs available or is there a place I could send the motherboard to get it serviced?
