AMD 6450 running at full speed all the time and close to 70c
Oct 29, 2012, 6:15 PM
I have a problem with this card, I have just installed it. Installed the latests drivers (after trying the ones that came on the disc with it) and it seems to be running far to hot.
Currently at 71c, running at 625mhz, despite me enabling graphics overdrive and pushing it down to 400mhz. I have the side of the PC case open as well.
These temperatures cannot be right can they? Something has to be wrong? Does anyone have any suggestions?

6450 running full speed time close

Ok, maybe those temps are ok after doing some more research. Guess I was just used to lower temps when I ran a 3450 a few years ago.
