Extreme 4, 3570k can I use my existing AMD PC3 Memory?

Quick Question

Upgrading my sons existing AMD gaming System Phenom iix4 965, Asus M4a88td-v evo mobo

Looking to get an ASrock Z77 extreme 4, core i5 3570k and coolermaster hyper 212 evo

Can I use my existing memory which is amd branded patriot 2x4gb pc3-12800 1600mhz cl-8 1.65v ?

you can but 1.65v instantly voids your intel warranty. intel chips dont run ram at more than 1.5v.

it will work fine but no warranty for you
