http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PhysX
more eye candy when you add PhysX. And only nvidia cards support it.

thanks brother,so this means that nvidia cards give better detailed and original resolution in games as compared to amd cards?i played nfs the run on gt 430 and also on hd 7750,but the game was looking more realistic on gt 430 inspite of the fact that hd 7750 is much powerful than gt 430,this could be the reason ?

Not entirely, there's not a whole lot of games out there that use physx. I know boardlands 2 does, and that newer batman game does, and some other ones. In games that don't use it there's no different if your using a nvidia or AMD card.

But does GT430 run better or HD7750? try disabled the physX on GT430 and see how it look.

NFS The Run does not support GPU Accelerated PhysX. I think it does use the PhysX engine, but all calculations are done on the CPU. A list of games that do support GPU Accelerated PhysX can be found here.

The 7750 should absolutely destroy a GT 430 in terms of performance. I don't see how the Nvidia card would make the game look better unless the game has some graphics features aside from PhysX that have been restricted to Nvidia cards, or you simply weren't running the game at the same settings when comparing the two cards. It could also be that texture filtering or other options weren't configured properly with the Catalyst Control Center, or some other configuration issue.

Basically it is a physics engine for calculating the paths of particles and objects with in the game. Havoc is another such engine but physx isn't the best example. There really isn't anything that is truly impressive such as allowing truly life like destructible models and meshes.

i have bought new Corsair CMPSU-430CXV2UK 430 Watts PSU which is 80+ certified.but still i am getting lower resolution on hd 7750.nfs 'the run' does not have physX engine.but still it is looking great on gt 430 than hd 7750.my psu is powerful enough to run these two cards.now i think nvidia cards are better.from above discussion ,it is clear that it is not due to physX.whatever be the reason,i am disappointed with amd hd 7750.

Well if you board has two slots then you can use both cards and the GT430 doesn't use much power at all. At idle you wouldn't notice the difference power wise and at full load it barely tops 50w. All you will need is hacked drivers and a older version of physx.

thanks for reply.my motherboard is old gigabyte945.i dont think it has two slots.i am planning to sell these two cards and buy a new nvidia card.(either gtx 550 ti or gtx 650).thanks

Personally I'd recommend the 7770. Unless you really like Nvidia AMD is better at this particular pricing point.

The 650 Ti gives a small performance boost over the 7770 but it costs quite a bit more. If you were going to spend that much money the 7850 is the way to go.

I really never noticed physX on my laptop that has nVidia with physX. I played Borderlands 2 on my desktop that has an AMD 7950 and then played it on my laptop and I just didn't notice it at all. But that's just me.

Physx is basically a system that Enhances the graphics for the better it makes jagged edges smooth and stuff like that but it demands a better V-card same for the V-ram

No and you are wrong. Physx is a physics engine that is used for calculating the paths of moving objects within the game. What you suggested was Anti Aliasing which is a filtering method to smooth out edges to give a more realistic and natural image.

That is like asking if God exists, all you will get in return is convoluted and most probably biased answers. You need to give the exact specification of what you are going to be using the card for and then, just maybe then, the responses will be of some relevance. :)

It is no myth that different games play better on different cards for a start
