Radeon 6870 or 6850+FC3

Okay I am getting a Corsair CX600, and I was wondering if this would be able to power a Radeon 6870, Also I was wondering If I Should get a XFX Radeon 6870, Or a XFX Radeon 6850 with far cry 3 with it and save 10 bucks. Please try to be detailed Thanks. :lol:

The PSU will be fine if you intend to keep a single GPU setup.

As far as playing FC3 with those boards, take a look at some benches from Techspot.com (Page 1: Setup, Page 2: Benches with high quality settings). You can decide if the 6870 is worth it for the free game.

It's probably not much more than the 6870 and it comes with FC3.

the 6870 is worth the extra. farcry3 is a very demanding game,. make sure you have a capable cpu too.

most 6870s are only 1GB. You can get a 1GB 7850 for $150 after rebate, which is about what a 6870 costs.
