I just looked at the prices on ncix.ca and it's the i5 3570 non k for $209.99. You need the i5 3570k if you plan to overclock and it looks like you do since you listed the cpu cooler.

Here is the modifications :

Motherboard ASUS P8Z77-V Lk ATX LGA1155 Z77 DDR3 3PCI-E16 2PCI-E1 3PCI SATA3 SLI DVI HDMI DP USB3.0 Motherboard 134,99
Processor Intel Core i5 3570K Unlocked Quad Core Processor LGA1155 3.4GHZ Ivy Bridge 6MB Retail 229.99
RAM Kingston KHX1600C9D3B1K2/8GX 8GB Kit 2X4GB 1600MHz DDR3 240PIN DIMM Unbuff Hmp HyperX CL9 34,99
CPU Fan Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo Direct Touch 4 Heatpipe Heatsink AM2 AM3 LGA1366/1155/1156/2011 120mm 34,98
PSU Seasonic M12II 620W EPS12V 20/24PIN ATX PFC 80+ Bronze Modular 6PIN PCI-E 120MM Fan Power Supply PSU 99,99
Video cardASUS Radeon HD 7850 V2 860MHZ DirectCU II 2GB 4.8GHZ GDDR5 2xDVI HDMI DisplayPort PCI-E Video Card 199.99
SSD Crucial M4 SSD Micron C400 128GB 2.5in Solid State Disk Flash Drive SATA3 6Gbps 109,99
HD Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM SATA3 64MB Cache 3.5IN Internal Hard Drive 97,99
Optical drive ASUS DRW-24B1ST 24X SATA DVD Writer OEM Black 24,98
Case Coolermaster Haf 912 Black Mid Tower ATX Case 4X5.25 1X3.5 6X3.5INT No PS Front USB Sound 54,99

I've change the i5 3570 processor for i5 3570k. I've change the video car for radeon hd 7850, the 7970 is too expensive. I've also lower down the ssd drive.

So, if I understand correctly, if I decide to not overclock the cpu, I could change the 3570k to 3570 and remove the cpu fan?

I've heard that radeon video card dont work well with linux. Should I take something like this if I want to use linux? GeForce GTX 560 Ti, I know nvidia drivers are updated regularly on linux.

Is it better like this? Are all the components good together? I'm really open to any idea :)

Thanks in advance
