I have to firtly admit that I'm a fairly fresh face to the LD scene, I just
got a player at Christmas time. I've got a cld 1080, unfortunately with no
remote. It seems that I can only get a mono signal out of the right side of
the stereo. Do I need a remote to switch audio streams, or is it a deeper
problem. Thankfully my amp has a setting for enhancing mono streams, but I
desperately want to hear what it will sound like with dolby digital EX II
emulation, DTS Neo 6, Logic 7 and good old 5 channel. I actually prefer the
emulations to the real encoding on VHS tapes with surround sound and sereo
DVDs. Is there anyone out there who has a spare remote? Remotes.com seels
them new, but they're nearly $100 last time I checked.
