Weird Comparison..??

Hey all, i found this video of the Nvidia gts 450 running bf3 with pretty much no lag and a good fps on ultra. It's like a hundred dollar card and it's this good??? Then i go and watch vids of hd 7950's running bf3 on ultra and they laaagggg. I mean, this does not make sense to me. anyone care to explain?? or s this guy lying or something?? lol. im confused.

Show me where did you saw a 7950 lagging in bf3 ultra?

Well we don't know if he lied or not, but I don't think it's true. And, he plays the game at 1366x768. So if he got it smooth, you may not get that smoothness.

The only way a 7950 isn't going to cut it is if you try playing at 2560x1600 with ultra and 8x aa.

My son has a 7950 it does not lag Ultra settings BF3 gets 45+FPS

Does he play at 2560x1600 with aa maxed out? I was just trying to say at 1920x1080 it will be fine.

You see it on youtube at 30 fps. He probably hits that with the gts 450.

Also, it was probably just fraps lag or something that made the video look laggy on the 7950.

7950 is probably twice as powerful as the gts 450, as I forgot. All I know is it's way powerful.

A 7950 is beast especially when overclocked i think that video is rigged :lol:

Most likely. Many people do that, which is really stupid considering people buy components off of videos.

My mom has a gts 450 on her computer (the one im using right now) and it only plays battlefield bad company 2 on medium, or maybe high, but on advanced it laaggg like crazy so yeah, i was a little confused. So the 7950 will be fine on ultra with 1920x1080?? thanks guys
