Cpu or motherboard first?

Hello,
i have a question to ask you all, that i have gtx 680, i7 2600k and maximus 4 extreme NON Z edition board, now im thinking to upgrade it. but i donno wanna upgrade my motherboard first or CPU first. can someone give me a suggestion?

Why do you feel you need an upgrade?

No need to upgrade. Get a good cooler and OC your CPU if you really feel you need the extra power. To get faster than what you have now after OC would require a platform shift i.e. LGA 2011, but unless you are doing CAD, rendering, and video encoding it is likely that you do not need a 2011 platform. If you are gaming keep what you have now.
