Hi,

I just want to ask. How to check whether a memory stick is cas 2 or cas 2.5? is it written on the pcb?

Thx

Check the Bios. Note: CL2 is CAS 2.

Or if you have the numbers off the chips post them here and we will find out for you.

DDR-SDRAM has 2, 2.5 and 3.
SDRRAM has just 2 and 3 (and 4, if you count old systems).

Hmmm. I was actually refering to the setting for stability. Righter than right you are.

hmm, if the ram supports CL2 then it would be equally stable as running at CL3.

AMD technology + Intel technology = Intel/AMD Pentathlon IV; the ULTIMATE PC processor

But if the RAM isn't CAS 2, and the BIOS are set to CAS 2, then it won't be stable.
