Hey guys,
I am looking to build this and I was looking for some feed back as to how it will work, if everything's compatible, any recommended upgrades etc.
Any feed back will be helpful and much appreciated, my intent for this build is gaming, although I am not trying to build something that can play any game ultra high settings, I would still like to come close within my budget of 800

I used new egg wishlist for the parts = http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=17542851

Thank you!

If you are planning to overclock, make sure to get a CPU cooler. If not, then get an i5 that doesnt overclock to save some buck.

Also, I would highly highly highly recommend the jump to a Radeon HD7850.

And, I would recommend the small jump in price for 8GB of RAM.

Ok upgraded the ram, and I would like to jump the graphics card up but I don't think I have it in my budget right now =/
also added a cpu fan

How does it look now?

Looks good, except you picked a DVD-ROM drive. You are going to want a DVD-RW, just to be up to par with modern tech.

It should actually be less for a DVD-RW.

Also, if you are planning on one card, you can save some money with a different power supply, like so:

I would also go for this adapter, so its internal. The main reason for this is that it is much easier not to lose or misplace and it is generally more reliable:

Awesome I like that power supply thank you!
And yes just one card, also is there anything comparable\ a small step down to the 7850? I dont think I can make that jump right now.
And what adapter? the link got messed up and sends me to newegg home page.

Thank you for the help btw

Well, I think there is a feature that the Z77 does have that the Z77 does not, but I believe it is not applicable to this build.

You will still be able to overclock.

You are going to have alot of fun with this rig, and you are going to be very very glad you got the 7850, I am sure. It is faster than my 6950, my 6950 which can play most games at max still.
